15 days late (71%)

We stained the arbor this evening. Our neighbours came over to have a look and told us that when the landscapers were laying the sod she asked them if they were going to replace the sod on their property that had been damaged by the landscapers when they ripped out the hedge. From the look on their faces she could tell they hadn't been told anything about it. So she said, "You weren't going to replace the sod, were you?" Their response was to snap back, "You'll get your sod lady!"

This kind of miscommunication is not unusual, unfortunately. But being rude about it doesn't endear me to this landscaper. The last thing I want is to piss off my neighbours who have been so good to us.

The landscaper also didn't put a retaining board to keep the stones off the neighbour's property so I'll have to do that. And, they also put the stone too far on to the neighbour's so I'll have to move it and find some more sod to patch.

The landscaper has also made no offer to replace the damaged sod they've been walking on and pushing wheelbarrows over. Shouldn't the property be restored the way it was when you're finished.

Anyway, they don't have to worry about coming back to do phase 2 of the back landscaping. I've had enough of them.
