We left a message for the landscaper asking him just when he intended to come back and complete the job. He phoned back and left a message saying he's really busy with other jobs right now, but that it should be done in "a week or so." Hello? I don't give a damn about the other jobs when ours is this late. And just what does "or so" mean?

Arlene and I will discuss whether to find the landscaper in default of the contract and give him 5 days to either complete the job or produce a schedule that we accept. Otherwise, we'll get another landscaper to complete the job at the first landscaper's expense.

Is there nobody out there who gives a <bleep> about customer satisfaction?
